November 10, 2016 ThingsHelenLoves1 Comment

We couldn’t have visited  Prague without taking a day out of the city to visit Kutna Hora and the infamous ‘Bone Church’. The ossuary is located in Sedlec, one of the oldest parts of the town.  Now famous as a tourist attraction and one of the twelve UNESCO world heritage sites the Czech Republic can lay claim to, Kutna… Continue reading Kutna Hora, Beautiful Bones.

Wiltshire is famous for white horses, but this one is my favourite 😊 Been soothing back to school nerves with a long walk in the fresh air and a visit to our mate down the road. Today feels like optimism, long may that feeling last! #sundaywalks #weekend #darlingweekend #englishcountryside #whitehorse #countryviews #greenfields #prettysky #clouds #walkingmum #timeforwiltshire #igerswiltshire #timefornature #naturelover #hopeful #optimism #discoverunder1k
Spotted on the morning walk, early blossom and green shoots. Brightening up a dull day. Do you know what else brightens up a dull day? Remembering it’s Friday and the last day of home schooling. Winner. Happy weekend all 😊 #friday #fridayvibes #dailywalk #greenshoots #greenleaves #naturelover #blossom #flowersofinstagram #flowerlovers #wildflowersofinstagram #englishcountryside #spring #dailydogwalk #happiestoutdoors #southwestengland #wiltshire #armywife
Back to that time we found a bit of Holland in Germany. The Dutch Quarter or Holländisches Viertel in Potsdam was built in the 1700s on the instructions of King Frederick Wilhelm I. Love the fact a gang of cyclists was coming as I took this snap, adds a little bit extra Dutch spirit! Potsdam is home to some stunning parks and buildings, but these red brick beauties are worth making time for 😊
Spring is ushering winter out. Country lanes are getting greener, skies are blue more than grey, there’s even washing on the line. Light at the end of the long, dark tunnel that was Winter 20/21 😊 Happy Thursday , I hope you’ve all had a good week. And even if not, take heart ❤️ it’s nearly done! #changeintheair #spring #goodbyewinter #blueskies #cloudpatterns #livebig #nolimits #countryviews #englishcountryside #perhamdown #wiltshirewalks #wiltshire #fieldsofgold #walkingmum #dailywalk #lookingforward #gratitude

Did you know there’s a park in Berlin that used to be a train yard? It’s my favourite Berlin park (so far,loads left to see!) Can’t wait to get back to Germany, it’s been far too long. #throwbackthursday #placesihavebeen #berlin #parksofberlin #naturparkschönebergersüdgelände #parksofeurope #steamtrain #history #greenspace #naturelover #lifeoutdoors #germany #visitgermany #placesihavebeen
Evening walk with the wolf, beautiful way to round off the day. Pretty skies on the way out, company of the moon over the trees on the way back in. Isn’t nature lovely? #eveningwalk #dailywalk #walkswithmydog #bigsky #coloursinthesky #moon #mooncycle #fieldandforest #rurallife #englishcountryside #wiltshirecountryside #wiltshirewalks #armywife
Did you know snowdrops represent hope in the language of flowers? I think that idea is more meaningful than ever this year. Loved spotting these little beauties in a church yard near me. Spring is coming 😊 #snowdrops #hope #flowersofinstagram #wildflowers #languageofflowers #churchyard #localheritage #mortuarychapel #greenshoots #spring #naturelover #cemetery #graveyard_fanatics #oldstones #happyoutdoors #dailywalk
Oh little wolf, what a big shadow you have 🐺 Lovely snowy walk with the dog this morning. A sprinkle of snow, gorgeous sunshine and blues skies. Sub zero outside, but I’m calling Spring. Fresh flowers and I’ve pulled out some Spring-almost-Easter decor. This time of year tests me, this year more than ever.
