Nivea Haus: Discover an iconic German beauty brand in the heart of Berlin
If you’re looking for things to do in Berlin and would love to explore an iconic European skincare brand, the Nivea Haus experience should absolutely be on your itinerary. The Berlin flagship store celebrates one of Germany’s most iconic beauty brands, offering everything from the classic blue tin creme to exclusive gift sets and spa treatments.
I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a beauty blogger. I can count on one hand the brands I am committed to using and reach for time and again. But I’m happy to say I am a life long Nivea lover, so when in Berlin I couldn’t miss the chance to drop into the flagship Nivea store on Unter Den Linden.

Why Visit Nivea Haus?
You can buy Nivea products worldwide, so you might be wondering if a visit to Nivea Haus is really worth it. I’m saying it absolutely is. Why? Because you’ll be immersed in the world of Nivea, an experience which includes:
- The unique flagship store experience, be warmly welcomed into the world of Nivea
- Huge range of Nivea products. Some you’ll know, some Nivea Haus excluxives
- Exclusive instore experiences and skincare treatments available (extra charge)
- The Nivea scent.
The Scent: Nivea Nostalgia
Did I just give you the scent of Nivea as a reason to visit? I did indeed.
The scent that greets you as you enter the store is divine. I wish this blog had a scent function so I could waft the scent of Nivea at you. That classic Nivea fragrance takes me back to childhood holidays on European beaches. Sand, sun and smiles: scent can be a powerful, evocative thing.

Nivea Nostalgia
Speaking of nostalgia, this is a brand with a rich heritage. Founded in 1911, Nivea paved the way for the modern beauty industry. There’s quite a few products in-store that give a good old nod to the brands heritage, really enjoyable to browse. Especially for a vintage, history loving girl like me!
Nivea Haus Berlin: The Instore Experience
The store interior is crisp and clean, but very welcoming. The beautiful Nivea scent and familiar blue and white branding plus a warm welcome from the staff wraps you up in the world of Nivea. The store might be located on one of Berlin’s busiest streets, but stepping through the doors feels like being wrapped up in a beautifully soft, blue-and-white Nivea scented blanket.
If you want to take that idea a step further, you can book treatments at the in-store spa. Facials and massage treatments start from around €50 and are pre-bookable online. In true German style, one of the facial treatments translates in English as, ‘ a thorough deep cleaning’. I’m sure it’s more relaxing than it sounds!
If you don’t have time for a full treatment, there there are also skin analysis services available to help you pick exactly the right German beauty products for your skin.
I have to give a mention to the staff we met during our visit. All were warm and welcoming without being too sales-y, spoke flawless, fluent English when my German faltered and were a real part of the experience.
I loved that, as a brand, Nivea puts the focus on wellness and relaxation, rather than any one beauty idea. Nivea is for everyone, from products designed especially for babies and children through to products for every occasion and season of life.
